Who we are
Spur Tasks is provided by Rohan Shah. You can contact us at rohans84@gmail.com.
Information Spur Tasks accesses
Spur Tasks is designed to work with your Google account. Depending on the version of the app and the permissions you grant, Spur Tasks may access:
- Your Google account identity information needed for sign-in, such as basic profile information and account email address.
- Your Google Tasks task lists and tasks, including titles, notes, due dates, completion status, list membership, order, and parent/subtask relationships.
- Google Drive file metadata needed to create, find, or manage app-created files used by Spur Tasks.
- Google Sheets data in an app-created spreadsheet used to store optional task enrichment information, such as priorities, labels, comments, or related metadata.
- Local app settings, sign-in state, and tokens managed by the Google Sign-In SDK and the operating system.
- Support messages you send to us by email or other support channels.
How we use information
We use this information to provide the core app features you request, including signing you in, showing your task lists, syncing tasks, creating and updating tasks, storing enrichment metadata, troubleshooting issues, and responding to support requests.
Google API Limited Use
Spur Tasks' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your Google user data.
- We do not use your Google user data for advertising.
- We do not use your Google user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
- We do not use your Google user data to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
- We do not share your Google user data with third parties except as needed to provide the app, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or with your direction and consent.
Where information is stored
Your core task data remains in Google Tasks. Enrichment metadata may be stored in a Google Sheet associated with your Google account. The app may store settings and authentication state locally on your device. Spur Tasks does not currently operate a separate cloud database for your task content.
Third-party services
Spur Tasks uses Google services to provide sign-in and task synchronization. If crash reporting, analytics, payments, or other third-party services are added in the future, this policy will be updated before those services are used in production.
Data retention
Task data and enrichment data remain in your Google account until you delete them. Local app data remains on your device until you sign out, delete app data, or uninstall the app, subject to operating system behavior.
Your choices
- You can revoke Spur Tasks' access to your Google account from your Google Account permissions page.
- You can delete tasks in Google Tasks or in Spur Tasks.
- You can delete the app-created enrichment spreadsheet from Google Drive if you no longer want Spur Tasks metadata stored there.
- You can uninstall the app to remove local app data from your device, subject to operating system behavior.
Children
Spur Tasks is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through Spur Tasks, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
